USET Foundation Awards Amanda Warrington Fund Grant To Robyn Fisher

GLADSTONE, NJ—June 18, 2004—The United States Equestrian Team (USET) Foundation has awarded the Amanda Warrington Fund Grant for 2004 to Robyn Fisher of Rohnert Park, CA.

The Grant is made available to Eventing riders who participate in the United States Equestrian Federation, Inc. (USEF) Eventing Developing Rider program. The Grant comes from a fund established by the family of the late Eventing rider Amanda Warrington.

Fisher, 24, won the Galway Downs International Horse Trial CIC*** this past March on her horse Le Samurai. She and Le Samurai also won the CCI** at Galway Downs last October.

Fisher participated in the USEF Developing Rider Training Session with 2002 World Equestrian Games team Gold Medalist Kim Severson at Galway Downs last spring.

Fisher was chosen by a three-member panel consisting of Peter Green, Chairman of the USEF Eventing Selectors; Kim Severson, USEF Developing Rider Coach; and Dan Warrington, representing the Warrington family. Robyn will receive a grant of $5,000 to help offset training expenses.

The USET Foundation supports the competition, training, coaching, travel and educational needs of America’s elite and developing International High Performance horses and athletes in partnership with the U.S. Equestrian Federation.
