Karen
O'Connor, of The Plains, VA, rode Mr. and Mrs. Richard Thompson's Joker's Wild,
her 2003 Pan American Individual Gold Medal mount, to victory in the CIC**, presented
by Lexus, at The Stuart Horse Trials. This pair
placed
2nd in the Dressage Phase, added no faults in either Cross Country or Show Jumping
to finish on their Dressage score of 41.1. (Karen and Joker's Wild are pictured
at the right during their Victory Gallop at the Pan American Games, 2003.)
Mara
Depuy Dean place second riding Good Stuff. Good Stuff was tied for 3rd after Dressage,
added 8 faults Cross Country, and Show Jumped clean for a final score of 49.7.
Buck
Davidson and Idalgo, tied with Mara and Good Stuff for 3rd after Dressage, picked
up 2.8 time faults on Cross Country and 8 faults in Show Jumping for a final score
of 52.5 and 3rd place.
