About Us
Mr. Stewart's Cheshire Fox Hounds Point-to-Point

The Cheshire Fox Hounds Point-to-Point took place on March 26th, in Unionville, Pennsylvania, at the Averell Penn Smith Walker Memorial Course at the north end of Plantation Field, the site of several horse trials run by Denis Glaccum. In fact, Denis was the Starter at the races.

This picture is of Alli Sirna and British Colony at the second last fence in the Owner-Rider Foxhunter's Race.

The question that eventingetc asks is, "Did this horse fall?

A second picture will be printed Tuesday and final pictures will be printed on Wednesday. These will answer the question.

In the meanwhile have a guess and a discussion with your friends.

OK - here is the second picture (Tuesday's). Now, what do you think? Did British Colony fall? The final picture will tell the tale tomorrow. Stay tuned!

The answer lies below in Wednesday's pictures. I have included three pictures as a salute to this gutsy little horse, British Colony. (Pleasant Colony - Livermore Lil by Mt. Livermore).

He had already run at least 2 1/2 miles and still put in a huge effort to keep from falling.

Hail the American Thoroughbred!
Hail British Colony!

Alli Sirna was unhurt and should enjoy many great future rides with
British Colony.
