
The
British Selectors (Lucinda Green (Chairman), Bridget Parker, Ian
Stark and Mandy Stibbe) have selected the three remaining combinations
for this year’s World Equestrian Games in Aachen (24 - 27 August) following some
excellent performances at the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials. William
Fox-Pitt (Tamarillo), Mary King (Call Again Cavalier) and European
Champion Zara Phillips (Toytown) were selected in February following Spring
training and will be joined by Pippa Funnell (Primmore’s Pride), Daisy
Dick (Spring Along) and Oliver Townend (Flint Curtis). 2005 Land Rover
Burghley Horse Trials winner Ballincoola has been named as a direct reserve for
Tamarillo while six reserve combinations have also been announced. The Squad (in alphabetical order): Daisy
