
The
2006 FEI World Equestrian Games are a qualifying event for the team competition
in Jumping, Dressage and Eventing at the 2008 Olympic Games. According
to the qualification procedure, the number of teams per discipline to qualify
for Hong Kong is as follows: 
Dressage
- 3 best placed teams; Eventing 5 five best placed teams; Jumping
5 best placed teams. Consequently, the qualified teams per discipline
so far are:
Dressage Germany, The Netherlands and the USA;
Eventing
- Germany, Great Britain, Australia, the USA
and Sweden; (Will
Faudree and Antigua, members of the US Eventing Team which qualified the USA for
Eventing in the 2008 Olympic Games in Hong Kong, jumping the boat on the island
in the first water at Aachen.)
The Jumping teams will be known
on 31 August at the end of the Nations Cup competition.
