About Us
Land Rover Burghley CCI****, September 7 - 10, 2006

2:50 PM EDST: The Following on the scene Report was just received for Sally Futh:

"The Good Wives Club", Luncinda (Fredericks) and Bettina (Hoy) called themselves at the Thursday. afternoon press conference... having bested their respective husbands, Clayton Fredericks and Andrew Hoy - rather unexpectedly.

(Fredericks) with a cinderella little mare,"Brit", (Headley Brittania) who narrowly missed death from a virus after a fall at Luhmuhlen last year, then was the first reserve at WEG and "had" to haved her day in the sun at Burghley.

Bettina's "Tonto," (Peaceful Warrior) the result of a liaison between an Appaloosa mare and 2 year old race horse was green,or "innocent" as one of the press corps suggested; but, out did expectations with a smooth, calm and very correct test.

USA's Becky Holder and Courageous Comet also had a very good test with only a couple of let downs in his extensions scoring many 8's, in a very correct frame, to move into equal fourth with Oliver Townend ahead of last year's winner Ballincoola and William Fox-Pitt. (Becky and Courageous Comet are pictured at Burghley this afternoon at the left above.)

(It has been a) lovely cool, beezy day - one of the best Thursday dressage days ever!

You are missed -

Sally
