Funnell is Off the WEG Squad 
It was announced on the BE website today (July 1) and others a day or so ago that
Primmore's
Pride, (Pippa Funnell's mount for the August's WEG)
has had a "set back" in training and has been taken off the WEG list.
He
had his first run in almost a year in an advanced intermediate last weekend (May
27 - 28) and  finished
in the top five. It would have been early in the week that I read he had been
scrapped from the team. I first saw it on www.eventriders.co.uk (worth a look
at to update news) and then on the BE website today.
Sharon Hunt
and Tankers Town have been put in instead. (Sharon and Tankers Town,
who finished 6th at the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials, in May, is pictured
at the right at the Keeper's Brush.)
Sadly for Pippa I fear
we may not see this horse at its best again; but, I hope I am wrong. Emily
