Karen
O'Connor Triple Winner at Middleburg Karen
O'Connor, who lives in The Plains, only a few miles away from Glenwood Park, in
Middleburg, Virginia, had a big day at the Horse Trials, run there by the Middleburg
Orange Country Pony Club. She won two of the four Open Intermediate Sections -
one with Mandiba, who was fresh from a win in the DeBroke Preliminary Championship
last weekend at the American Eventing Championships (Karen and Mandiba
are pictured at the right during their Victory Gallop at the AEC's); and one
with Let's Make A Deal.
Karen also won a Section of Open Preliminary riding
Dato Dancer. Of the three horses both Let's Make A Deal and Dato Dancer finished
on their Dressage scores, while Mandiba added only one time fault in the Show
Jumping Phase. Open
