they are NOT for publication. Ted Cushny, Former Publisher Ted was a graduate of Yale University and Columbia University Law School.
He practiced Trusts and Estates Law while working for J. & W. Seligman &
Co., J. & W. Seligman Trust Company, and the US Trust Company of New York. Ted was a former Secretary, President, and member of
the Board of Directors of the National Horse Show Association of America, Ltd.
He has held an AHSA Judge¡¯s License for Jumpers and an AHSA Steward¡¯s License. Ted and his wife, Cora, owned the Small Junior Hunter
Champion Sight Unseen, who was twice AHSA Horse of the Year. Ted
had been to eight Olympic Games and numerous Eventing World Championships, beginning
with the first held at Burghley, in 1966. He had attended four World Equestrian
Games - Stockholm, The Hague, Rome, and Aachen 2006. Ted had been a leader in digital photography in the
Eventing world.
Ted
died of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis on December 29, 2006. He remains the inspiration
for eventingetc.com. Those
of us who follow hope to live up to his high standards. Cora
C. Cushny, Editor Cora¡¯s equestrian interests began in the show ring and the hunting field.
She is an Ex-MFH of the Meadow Brook Hounds and a member of the Masters of Foxhounds
Association of America. She has held AHSA Judge¡¯s Licenses in Hunters, Jumpers
and Hunter Seat Equitation, as well as a Steward¡¯s License. She has judged and
stewarded such premier horse shows as The National Horse Show, at Madison Square Garden, Devon, Piping Rock, Ox Ridge and Fairfield. Cora judged the ASPCA Maclay Finals twice and the
AHSA Medal Final three times. Champions who won when she judged include Bernie
Traurig, Jimmy Kohn, and Conrad Holmfeld. Cora
is a former Chairman of the AHSA Pony Hunter Committee and is currently a Co-Chairman
of the US Equestrian Federation Hearing Committee. She is
a former Trustee of the United States Equestrian Team and currently serves on
its Advisory Committee. In 2001, she was an Alternate Selector for Eventing. Cora
attended her first International Eventing Competition in 1959, the Pan American
Games, in Chicago, and has attended and covered Olympic Games and Eventing World Championships
with her husband, Ted. Contact:

is a graduate of Southern Illinois University and holds a Master's Degree in Radio
and Television Production from Brooklyn College. He creates computer generated
graphics on a free-lance basis and teaches graduate level courses at New York
