October 23 issue of Horse and Hound reports the following:
"Don't
Step Back, the much admired grey horse ridden into 10th place at Badminton (2003)
by Irish rider Trish Donegan, has been sold for a six figure sum to American rider
Abigail Lufkin. The horse - which British owners also had their eyes on - was
a member of the Irish Olympic, World and European teams."
Trish
Donegan and Don't Step Back finished 25th at the European Championships at Punchestown,
Ireland, in September. Their Dressage score was 55.80 for 39th place. They incurred
27.60 time faults on Cross Country, for 25th place, and 4 faults in Show Jumping

Editor's
Note: No one, even if they are so cash poor that they are sleeping in the hay
loft, ever sells a horse they think might win them an Olympic Medal.
