About Us
Plantation Field, 2003

The following should give EVERY Eventer an extra appreciation for Organizers and the problems they face in putting on competitions for competitors!!!

The below pictures and text were received from Bambi Glaccum, the Secretary of Plantation Field Horse Trials:

Rt. 82 was closed from Thurs. until Sun. 10 a.m., here at our house, but the horse trials went on inspite of the fact that we had to drive 4 miles around the block to get there because of the downed wires by our house. (See picture at right of tree and wires in the middle of Route 82.)

The picture of the truck is to show that the extension cord is coming from the cigarette lighter in through the living room window to run the laptop computer and the printer so that the horse trials could go on. Competitors were kept updated by our website (if they had power that is) and all that attended had a great time.

(The picture at left shows power coming from Denis' pick up truck to run Bambi's computer!)

Thank you Bambi and Denis!
